I thought it would be a good idea to cover all the basics so I've employed the 5 W's. Or commonly known as: who, when, what, why, where. So without further ado, here goes...
WHO?
My name is Becky Brickwood and I'm a twenty year old student studying Journalism(BA) at the University of Huddersfield, UK. I'm a huge lover of beauty, jewellery, food, travelling and my cats; Castiel and Millie. Castiel? I know, an odd choice, but named after a character from a fantastic TV show, Supernatural.
WHEN?
Born on February the 22nd 1995, I'm currently twenty years old. Which, to be honest, I find completely odd because it only seems likes yesterday I was starting high school. It just goes to show that there is no point in wasting time doing things you don't enjoy, as life passes so quickly. It's better to laugh and have fun, rather than be miserable.

WHERE?
Originally I'm from a small village called Lymm in Cheshire, England which is located between the great cities of Manchester and Liverpool - however, I currently reside in Huddersfield for university. When at home, I live with parents. I have an older brother and sister, Adam and Joanne, which made me the baby of the family until my favourite princess came along in 2008. My beautiful niece Georgia May.

WHY?
Started in 2011 - and lacking motivation until 2013 - I created this blog as a way to combine my passion for make-up with my love for social media. Since starting uni, my tutors have told me maintaining a blog acts as a mini-portfolio and is a great way of showing future employers your creative and passionate side. So, hello possible future employer... Hire me!
WHAT?
This is a general blog really, with posts ranging from beauty tutorials to delicious recipes, and everything in between - but mainly it's a beauty blog. I've always been interested in blogging, ever since I had to create a blog for my A-Level media course. I'm a huge fan of magazines and regularly find myself flicking through the pages of the latest issues on the look out for blogging inspiration. I prefer celebrity gossip, lifestyle, culture and travel based mags, although I'm sure if you put an issue of 'Stationary News' in front of me I'd give it a good read.
